What is the difference between CD/DVD Duplication and Replication?
Disc Duplication is best and most cost-effective for quantities under 1000 – It is a simply a copy made of an original master disc onto a writeable CD or DVD. Duplicated discs have a very fast production time – sometimes same day.
For quantites over 1000 Disc Replication is usually the best option. In this process a glass master disc is produced, from which the discs are replicated. The production time for replication can be upto 6 weeks, but the end product would be compatible with all players. Duplicated discs will occasionally not play in older players.
